Celebrity Weddings Gold Leaf is Gushing Over

As we begin planning for a bright and beautiful new wedding season and year, we can’t help but recap all of the celebrity weddings that took place in 2014.   From Kim and Kanye (did you know they got married? It was pretty low key…), to long time partners Elton John and David Furnish. Through all of the ceremonies, cold feet, diamonds you could serve tea on, and INCREDIBLE fashion, we narrowed it down to two couples that really stole the show in our eyes.

#1-Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl

I don’t think anyone-no matter your personal style or taste, is surprised that this wedding tops almost every “So beautiful I could die” list.

The fashion EXPERT and German model, tied the knot in a teenie tiny private ceremony in Bedford New York after 8 years of dating. The two wanted it small and intimate with plans to do it bigger in the future, when all of their loved ones could be present. Olivia perfectly executed a Carolina Herrera two-piece and relaxed, natural hair and makeup.

“I wanted the makeup to be light and fresh and more focused about the lashes while keeping the eyes clean. My hair was in an uncontrived ponytail, one of my favorite looks” Palermo told Glamour Magazine UK.

And the best part, deep blue Manolo Blahnik’s for her “something blue”. The girl can do no wrong.

#2 –Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine

We’re shocked! No we’re not…these two absolutely crush it.

(This was taken when they first found out they made our 2014 best weddings list…NBD)

While Mr. Levine has been known to have cuddled up with one or two Victoria Secret Angels, Behati locked it down (cheers to you, sister). The couple got married this past July in a very private destination wedding in Mexico. While there are ZERO pictures (killing us), reports state it was a beach party for the stars. With the VS front-runners as bride’s maids, and Maroon 5 band mates as groomsmen, it was one talented, good-looking evening. Behati wore a custom designed Marchesca gown and both humbly requested charity donations as gifts.

Now for the weddings keeping us on the edge of our seat

#1-Jennifer Anniston and Justin Theroux

It doesn’t come as a huge surprise that Jen and Justin are keeping nuptials absolutely mum. The private couple has been engaged for 2 years but plans are finally in gear. Recently in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, when asked about their upcoming wedding, Jen said that no one has any idea when, or where their wedding will be held. It is such a mystery that good friends of the couple, Sacha Barron Cohen and Isla Fischer, come to all gatherings and parties dressed in wedding attire, just to be prepared.

“Even like the 4th of July last year, they showed up and Sacha was in a powder blue suit and Isla was in a cute little dress. And we were like ‘Guys, it’s the 4th of July we’re in cutoffs eating hotdogs. We will actually let you know!’”

I’ll take the Cohen’s cue, and wear a dress everyday in anticipation.

#2-Jackie and Kelso

These two…these two are so good. Have been since day one and we are BEYOND excited that they have finally gotten it together, and are marrying each other. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have been close friends since “That 70’s show”(which they both met, and acted on), first debuted in 1998.   After being a couple on the show, and quite literally being each other’s first and only prom dates, Mila was crushin’ she tells W Magazine.   As for the ceremony, it will just be the two of them. “Now my theory on weddings is: do it privately and secretly. My parents are okay with that. They’re just excited I said yes”.

#3-Whitney Port and Tim Rosenman

We cannot WAIT to see this wedding come to fruition. Whitney is so detail oriented with such a lovely feminine sense of style, this will be every girly girls dream. Her sister Ashley is conveniently a wedding planner herself, and will be coordinating the entire day and all 150-200 guests. “[I want to take] elements from all different vibes and blend them together” she tells E! News. She wants neutrals and pastels for her outdoor destination wedding and says, “It’s just important to me that it’s sunny and everyone can just be casual”. We hope so too kids!

Congratulations and well wishes to our couples listed here and all of you couples reading! We are so excited for the 2015 wedding season!
